I distinctly remember the first time I met Megan.  I had just opened the doors to my new office at Norwood and she came flouncing in and I liked her immediately. She kicked her shoes off and said “Do you mind if I sit on the floor?”… and that’s how we bonded and chatted about her upcoming wedding to the love of her life, Ben… both sitting, barefoot, on the floor.  Loved it.

To say that I adored Megan + Ben’s wedding is an understatement. I knew it would be fabulous, but I didn’t realise it would be that fabulous! They were married on a beautiful day in March, 2012,  and everything was absolutely stunning, the weather.. the venue.. the wedding dress.. the details… But it was the people that made it so amazing– everyone was so warm and welcoming, and there was a real sense of family, unity and genuine happiness on the day. Megan + Ben are a brilliant couple, so in love and so much fun. And their bridal party were a bunch of laughs, as you will see in the photos below!

Please enjoy a few of my many favourites from their day! We’ll start with the handsome groom and his hilarious groomsmen…

Meet Megan — happily writing her speech.

Megan’s dad taking a quiet moment away from all of the frivolities happening inside.:)

This little cherub soon got over her tears from earlier in the morning and couldn’t wait to show me her pretty dress!

It’s always exciting when it’s time for the Bride to get dressed!

It was an absolutely beautiful moment when Megan’s dad saw her in her wedding dress for the first time…

Time to say ‘I do’!

Let the celebration begin!

Megan + Ben, it was a pleasure spending the day with you. Thank you for allowing me to capture these wonderful memories for you.
